Hello families!
November is fast approaching!
Please be on the lookout for the sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences. There are morning, afternoon and evening times available to discuss your child's progress, goals and the kindergarten report card.
Conferences are extremely important as they help me to get to know your family and student, therefore building a stronger relationship with you.

What's New in October
- Halloween is almost here! This year Creston is allowing costumes on Friday the 29th. They just can't be horror themed, include masks, cover their face or include anything that takes away from student learning (props, toys).
Birthday News
- BIRTHDAYS: Parents are asking, how do we celebrate birthdays in kindergarten? All students will get a birthday book made by their peers. No snacks are allowed.
Welcome to Kindergarten in Room 111!
Hooray for the first day!
Hi, my name is Ms. Winn and I am excited to be your child’s teacher this school year. This group of students is clearly eager to engage and learn! I have been teaching with Portland Public Schools since 2005, working in kindergarten, first, second grade, special education, and with the Columbia Regional Deaf and Hard of Hearing (housed in Creston).I worked in a Montessori preschool prior to getting my teaching license.i am always very grateful for that experience as it continues to impact my teaching today.
i am a Portland native and i attended school in PPS.I have lived in Milwaukie the last 10 years with my son, 2 step kids and fiance. I love sports, the beach, and dark chocolate. I am FINALLY getting married this May after having Covid push it back.
i love being a part of the Creston community and am looking forward to a great year.
